Rhode Island School of Design Museum
The Rhode Island School of Design Museum presents Wunderground: Providence, 1995 to the present. This exhibit celebrates Providence’s intersection of art and music. The exhibit will be on display until January 7th, 2007. For more information please call 401 454-6500.
The Dryden Gallery
Located at Providence Picture Frame will feature an exhibition by local photographer Richard McCaffrey. Images from the 1970 s & 80 s will consist of over 150 photos of the most influential musicians of select time periods. "Troubadours, Rockers & Punks" will be on display from November 18th through January 6th.
Rhode Island Festival of Trees: December 1st-3rd
The 3rd annual Rhode Island Festival of Trees will be held at the RI Convention Center. The event will feature beautifully decorated trees, crafts and entertainment for all ages. All trees on display are available for purchase. Admission is $8 adults, $6 children and seniors; advanced and group tickets are available and proceeds benefit Roger Williams Park Zoo.
